CAE Healthcare has established partnerships with esteemed universities around the world to develop next-generation simulation solutions. Focused on delivering high-quality simulation experiences, these globally recognized CAE Centers of Excellence work closely with us and other industry leaders to drive change, develop new products and provide input regarding changing needs.
Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI)
As our first Center of Excellence in Europe, the largest medical school in Ireland and one of the most internationally focused medical schools in the world, RCSI drives a mission that mirrors CAE Healthcare′s–to advance healthcare education, technology and research through experiential simulation. With the use of high-fidelity CAE Healthcare medical manikins, RCSI creates conditions that optimize learning and help learners experience, in real-time, the outcomes of their decisions and actions. Offering educational programs across a broad spectrum, RCSI supports many hours of teaching to create meaningful education and training touchpoints for thousands of learners.
Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT)
Designed with 6,000 square feet of simulation space, NAIT offers eight simulation theaters capable of transforming into an operating room, apartment or even a clinic. An additional theater projects images to extend possible simulation settings. Aligned with CAE Healthcare, NAIT is committed to maintaining best practices to enhance patient safety for students and industry professionals through adaptable, realistic emergency scenarios. With the use of CAE Healthcare simulators, NAIT helps bridge the gap between training and real-word clinical experiences for nearly 3,000 learners per year.
Through turnkey simulations, ESPA-Montréal caters to three client bases: medical professionals, college students and students in short professional curricula. The education center offers simulation-based scenarios ranging from pediatrics and mental health to bilingual professional interactions. At CAE Healthcare, we are dedicated to enhancing safety and readiness to shape a better future, and we are proud to share that mission with ESPA-Montréal which prepares an average of 2,000 learners annually for rare to complex scenarios that may occur in real clinical situations.
Leading a mission to advance quality healthcare, the new Staffordshire University Centre for Health Innovation combines first-class facilities with research and educational excellence. In these facilities, learners can take advantage of immersion, simulation and collaboration spaces, all under one roof. Each course focuses on lifelong learning and skills development from internationally recognized research teams. CAE Healthcare medical manikins are also part of the facility to provide learners with an enhanced experience in realtime with real responses.
With 20,000 square feet of simulation space, Rush Center for Clinical Skills and Simulation (RCCSS) is home to state-of-the-art equipment and technology to enhance teaching and learning capabilities. This includes advanced patient simulators, such as CAE HPS to practice administering anesthesia and CAE Lucina to learn about diagnosing and treating normal and emergency childbirth situations. Mirroring the values of CAE Healthcare, RCCSS is on a mission to elevate healthcare and patient outcomes for a safer society.
