| Roxanne Blanford

After successfully implementing saglyk (a dedicated initiative to lower morbidity rates and improve health), Turkmenistan has achieved another milestone (through an agreement with CAE Healthcare) on the construction of a turnkey healthcare simulation training center.

CAE Healthcare made an agreement, in cooperation with the Turkmenistan Ministry of Health, to provide a turnkey healthcare simulation training center in Turkmenistan. The record contract includes the design and building of the center, the sale of a fully-integrated audiovisual solutions system, and seventeen CAE Healthcare patient, surgical and ultrasound simulators.

The center is the first of its kind to offer multi-disciplinary medical simulation training in Turkmenistan.

Proudly Delivering Turnkey Solutions Through Simulation

The new, 7-story educational center includes:

  • simulated emergency and intensive care rooms
  • operating rooms
  • standardized patient examination rooms
  • nursing laboratories
  • wet and dry laboratories for surgical education
  • a debriefing area
  • an ambulance bay
  • non-CAE simulators
  • medical equipment
  • consumable supplies and essential furnishings

The training center also houses a research center on three floors, with CAE Healthcare solutions occupying the remaining four floors.

"We are delivering a comprehensive solution that includes needs analysis, planning and design of the center, a full portfolio of simulation tools as well as clinical education to train faculty and full-time technicians on site," said Dr. Robert Amyot, President of CAE Healthcare.

"We are proud to have been chosen to provide the full scope of our capabilities as a healthcare training partner of choice."
