Airway Problems Metiman Prehospital

Hello,

we bought a Metiman Prehospital in May 2010 und had massive Airway problems since this time.:mad:
First Metiman was nearly not to intubate, after a modifikation it was ok, but the feature of difficult airway is not usefull anymore since that time.
The use of supraglottic airway devices like LMA or Larynxtube has never worked.
Does anyone using Metiman Prehospitalor iStan has the same problems and what sort of intervention did solve the problems?

The same problems are present with ours. The only thing that helped us was to use a smaller one than the manufacturer called for and lubricate very well. Also there is some minor adjustments that can be made to the way the airway sits if you take the sim apart.
