I am in the process of programming PediaSim and was wondering if you are able to insert pictures to come up on the monitor (such as an image of hives, for instance) during programming?

Good morning S Yeagar,

One suggestion - is you could use an OHP with a transparency marked up with the appropriate skin rashes that "beams" down onto the mannequin ( good for systemic reactions) and the facilitator can then give the info about of it blanches etc - also you could use moulage to simulate this , my final suggestion is using a separate portable laptop with a picture in the appropriate place - I have used all three ,

best wishes,

Amanda

We have a collection of pictures on a memory stick that we display on the Waveform monitor when needed. We open the picture before the sim starts and place it where we want it to be, then minimize it to the dock. When required, we just open it again and it jumps right to where it was placed.
